Key Responsibilities:

  • To maximise relationships with the current customers.
  • Acquire a thorough understanding of customer needs and requirements.
  • Expand relationships by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives.
  • Resolve any issues and problems faced by the Customer.
  • Play and integral part in generating new sales with Key Account Customers.
  • Prepare regular reports of progress to internal & external stakeholders using key account metrics and KPI’s
  • Manage the commercial aspect of the customer programmes.
  • Agree payment profiles with customers for investment programmes.
  • Responsible for reviewing costs versus budget and recommending appropriate cost reductions.
  • Liaising with Wipac project personnel to ensure invoices are raised in line with completed project milestones.
  • Attend customer meetings and visits at all levels regularly to ensure uniformity of communication with the customers
  • Have an in-depth understanding of customer quotations.
  • To work and support other team members as required ensuring an effective and efficient service is developed and delivered

Experience and Qualifications

  • Educated to degree or equivalent level
  • Minimum of five years’ experience in a Key Account Management role ideally in the automotive sector.
  • Strong Negotiator.
  • Excellent Numeracy skills.
  • Ability to work in a team.
  • Strong Analytical Skills.
  • Excellent IT skills.
  • Exemplary communication skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Strong contractual knowledge.
